About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team at Lactalis, a leading dairy company in innovation and sustainability. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our dairy products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Perform timely and accurate preparation and testing of samples to ensure the smooth operation of the analytical laboratory and an outstanding level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and monitor all equipment related to the lab, including calibration checks on thermometers, date code verifications, and temperature checks on fridges, chillers, and incubators.
  • Sample Preparation and Testing: Conduct product inspection, sampling, testing, and sensory evaluation to meet specification and quality standards.
  • Communication and Documentation: Provide accurate, precise, and timely communication of results of all testing and analysis to internal and external stakeholders, and record, review, and archive data to ensure all documentation is complete and accurate for compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • SAP Hold and Release Process: Manage the SAP hold and release process to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in a relevant science field (Food Science, Microbiology, or Biochemistry).
  • Experience: Demonstrated laboratory experience and proficiency in basic laboratory skills, including pipetting, weighing, and measuring. Analytical testing experience, particularly in fats, proteins, and T Solids and Milkoscan, is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, sound problem-solving and analytical skills, and good time-management skills to deliver results on time.
