About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Test Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform timely and accurate preparation and testing of samples, recording and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct testing according to established sample plans and standardised test methods, ensuring high conformance to product specifications.
  • Record sample data and test results accurately in our systems, providing detailed reports as required.
  • Communicate results to internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner, fostering a customer service mindset in all interactions.
  • Participate in daily taste panel evaluations for products manufactured, releasing or holding products using correct documentation and procedures.
  • Support production teams in achieving high quality standards, working collaboratively to resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science (majoring in Food Science, Chemistry, or closely related discipline) or relevant certificate/diploma.
  • Detailed understanding of HACCP principles and ability to perform basic laboratory analysis.
  • Reliable work ethic, good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
