Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and oversee the procurement process for new and existing contracts and supply agreements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and working with key suppliers to manage costs and drive efficiencies across our network of locations
  • Leading and participating in projects relating to product introduction, discontinuation, data maintenance, tendering processes, contract management, resolution of supply issues and sourcing of new materials
  • Providing guidance on best practices and process improvements supporting other departments with tenders and negotiations as required

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record in procurement, contract management, purchasing, buying, logistics or project management. A tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or Logistics would be advantageous.

Apart from your technical skills and experience, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships with suppliers, executive and senior management.
