Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Trades Support Professional to provide assistance to our engineers and technicians in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and equipment.
The Role
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure machinery and equipment is running efficiently and safely.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot problems with machinery and equipment and recommend solutions.
- Perform general workshop duties including operating power tools, maintaining workshop cleanliness and organization, and participating in daily safety checks.
- Opportunity for training as a qualified Fitter and/or Machinist overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an engineering or mechanical environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in the use of hand and power tools, including welding and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
