Job Opportunity


We are seeking a qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a sessional lecturer.


Job Description:


The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research and professional experience in a creative industries context. This includes developing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and workshops, as well as assessing student work and providing feedback.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you will have a Master's degree or equivalent professional experience, as well as a strong understanding of the relevant field of study and skills demonstrated by academic achievement and/or professional experience.


Previous relevant tutoring experience is highly desirable, and you should be able to provide timely and constructive feedback on academic progression and assessments.


Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students and staff are essential, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.

As a sessional academic, you will make an important contribution to the discipline(s) and unit(s) for which you are engaged. You may be asked to prepare and conduct lectures, consult with students, undertake marking of assessment, and attend meetings as required by the Dean, Academic Operations Manager, Faculty Head or Unit Coordinator.

Key Requirements:


  • A Master's degree or equivalent professional experience
