The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the preparation and management of patients undergoing surgery, ensuring seamless transitions between departments.
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled nurse with a proven track record in pre-operative care, who can lead by example and mentor others to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for pre-operative patients.
- Manage patient flow and communicate effectively with surgical teams, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices in pre-operative care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
- Mentor and support junior staff in their professional development.
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing or related field, preferably with a focus on pre-operative care.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RNs) or Enrolled Nurse (ENs).
- Minimum 5 years experience in pre-operative nursing, preferably in a leadership role.
