Join a dynamic team driving innovative work in truth, treaty, self-determination and cultural rights. As part of the Advancing Traditional Owner Rights Branch, this position will contribute to policy development, coordination and implementation.
The Business Support Specialist will be responsible for developing strong relationships with stakeholders including Traditional Owners, government agencies and community groups.
- Collaborate on the development of policies and programs that promote reconciliation and better outcomes for First Peoples.
This role offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Victorians and contribute to the department's mission to deliver exceptional services to the people of Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support policy development and coordination within the Treaty and First Peoples' portfolio.
- Demonstrate expertise in business systems and electronic databases.
- Apply knowledge of Victorian government policies and processes relating to business management and government service delivery.
- Utilize administrative and organisational skills with the capacity to manage a variable workload effectively.
- Develop written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication.
