Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Regional Procurement Specialist to join our Indirect Sourcing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational procurement support for assigned materials and services. This role will involve leading and facilitating sourcing projects, developing sourcing strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to meet business requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate sourcing projects to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop specifications, gain quotations, and conduct analysis to balance competing bids.
  • Support the Global Indirect Procurement Management Team in ensuring cost reduction, risk mitigation, and robust commercial agreements.
  • Provide day-to-day procurement support, including liaison with end-users and suppliers.
  • Resolving operational queries, including invoice and payment issues.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree or related trade level.
  • Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), or Institute of Supply Management (CPSM, or CPM) or another appropriate professional institute or relevant experience.
  • Experienced in end-to-end strategic sourcing.
  • Solid Purchasing Systems (P2P) technical knowledge, ideally including SAP and Bravo Systems.
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of Procurement Processes - to an advanced working level across a range of organizations.
  • Builds effective relationships collaborating at all levels underpinned by openness, honesty & respect.
  • Takes commitment seriously and does what they say they will do whilst holding others to account.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates perseverance, patience and commitment for long term success.
