Senior Project Assurance Specialist

Talenza is seeking a seasoned Project Assurance Specialist to join a leading financial services organization.

The role involves providing assurance against projects and ensuring they adhere to governance and delivery standards, while progressing in alignment with the agreed direction from the EPMO and other support partners.

  • Assist in improving governance and delivery standards, including the Project Management Framework and associated collateral.
  • Review monthly steering committee packs, status reporting, estimations, project updates, and other required pieces.
  • Support the PM Community of Practice as needed.

Required experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in delivery, preferably in medium to large, regulated organizations (financial services, telecommunications, consulting, or FMCG).
  • Strong hands-on experience in waterfall and agile project delivery.
  • Experience in project assurance for waterfall and agile projects.
  • Strong experience with Scrum and/or exposure to Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills to establish trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels, particularly project managers.
  • Understanding of the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Prior experience as a business analyst or in testing (advantageous).
  • Qualifications or equivalent industry experience in Agile and PMBOK, highly desirable.

Location: City (office attendance 2 days/week)

Salary: $150k - $170k package (inclusive of superannuation)
