Electrical Engineering Role

We are seeking a talented electrical engineer to join our dynamic team in Sydney.

As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering assistance and support on various projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical resources for projects by being familiar with drawings, project specifications, standards, and other technical requirements.
  • Interaction with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Technical investigations and commissioning assistance as required.
  • Monitoring, distributing, and entering inspection test reports (ITRs), reviewing ITRs, and generating new ITR test packs to support project quality objectives.
  • Entering data and test sheets into PIMS, monitoring progress, and preparing reports.
  • Collating and constructing electrical MDRs.
  • Redline mark-ups of drawings.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in electrical or electronics engineering.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a graduate or cadet electrical engineer.
  • Experience on construction mining projects.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve objectives.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Broad theoretical job knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively in, and contribute to, a team of professionals.
  • Committed to maintaining a strong safety culture.
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • PDF editor experience.
