Food Services Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Food Services Assistant to join our team at McKenzie. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation, presentation, and serving of resident meals, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.
- Clean and maintain the food preparation and consumption areas, cooking equipment, and utensils to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Cater for special occasions, such as birthdays, cultural, and religious events, meetings, and functions, providing a personalized and memorable experience for our residents.
- Contribute to maintaining the dining and adjacent rooms in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to take direction from others and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Valid working rights in Australia and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
