Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team on a casual basis. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food preparation and service to our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in food preparation, hygiene, and infection control principles
  • Basic computer literacy, using a range of online systems
  • Proven ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, weekends and nights included
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Committed to a high level of patient-centered care
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety and safe manual handling practices
