Data Engineering Opportunity

The Business Intelligence and Analytics team plays a crucial role in the organization by overseeing the entire process of acquiring new data, integrating it into an Azure Cloud hosted Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environment, and delivering valuable insights to stakeholders.

This position focuses on all aspects of Data Integration from source systems, transforming the data into business-ready information for deployment to the Business Intelligence environment.

  • Source System Analysis: extracting data from various sources
  • Data Modelling: designing efficient data structures using techniques like Data Vault and Star Schema
  • Data Integration: predominantly using Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database
  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand their information needs
  • Designing and building data solutions with transformations close to the source
  • Investigating and resolving failures in the Data Warehouse and BI environment

A relevant tertiary qualification in business or technology with a focus on Data and Analytics is required. Experience using Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence platforms, software applications, and processes is essential.
