Risk Management Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across operational, compliance, and financial risks.
  • Implement risk management strategies and policies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Present detailed risk reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Compliance, Legal, and IT to ensure thorough risk management.
  • Support due diligence reviews for third parties.
  • Develop and maintain risk management systems and tools.
  • Educate colleagues on risk culture and framework integration.

Risk Management Specialist Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with risk management principles, especially regulatory capital, stress-testing, or regulator exposure.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
