The Power to Kids program enhances professionals' skills to strengthen prevention and responses to child sexual exploitation, harmful sexual behaviour, and dating violence.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role plays a leading part in delivering high-quality professional learning to external stakeholders across the out-of-home care system. The specialist will be involved in developing and reviewing content and resources to support implementation, promote evidence-based practice, and ensure cultural safety.
- Designing learning materials for varied professional cohorts
- Facilitating groups with diverse backgrounds, skill levels, and attitudes
- Developing and reviewing content and resources to support implementation
- Ensuring cultural safety and promoting evidence-based practice
This role requires knowledge of Aboriginal culture and values, a relevant qualification in human services/social work, education, health, or a related field, and demonstrated experience in designing learning materials and facilitating groups.
