Job Overview

This role offers the opportunity to join our Investment Risk and Analytics team as we continue to grow and innovate in the financial services industry. As Senior Investment Data Specialist, you will play a key part in building out our investment data and analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technology, systems and tools that underpin our investment data and analytics capabilities.
  • Evaluate and ensure the accuracy and reliability of data through comprehensive data cleaning and validation.
  • Work with diverse data sources available to the investment team, including risk, liquidity, ESG & climate, holdings, performance, economic & markets and peer data.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. You can expect a range of benefits, including access to our Employer Super fund, discounts on home loans and daily bank accounts, and support with financial services.

Requirements
  • Advanced mathematical and numeracy skills.
  • Proficiency in coding languages (ideally Python) and data visualisation (e.g. Tableau).
  • Understanding of databases (e.g. SQL) is advantageous.
  • Inquisitive, lateral thinker with a desire to challenge ideas and devise creative solutions.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Tertiary qualifications with an emphasis on analytical training.
