Support Worker Role

Greek-speaking support workers play a vital role in empowering clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services, including showering, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation, domestic tasks, and shopping.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship in Greek and English languages.
  • Support community access and transportation to medical appointments.
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and follow client care plans.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in Greek and English languages (essential).
  • Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Disability) or be currently studying.
  • Previous experience in home care, disability, or aged care sectors is preferred.
  • Hold current Police Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR certifications.
  • Be reliable, empathetic, and committed to client wellbeing.
  • Possess a valid driver's licence and own vehicle (preferred).
