Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to assist a female client in her 50s who lives with her elderly mother. The ideal candidate will be fluent in the Greek language and have excellent communication skills.

The role involves providing personal care, domestic assistance, and social support to the client, as well as facilitating access to community services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Social Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to the client, engaging her in conversation and activities.
  • Community Access: Facilitate the client's access to community services, such as shopping, leisure activities, and medical appointments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluency in Greek Language: The successful candidate must be fluent in the Greek language and able to communicate effectively with the client.
  • Certifications: A First Aid Certificate, Current CPR Certificate, Working with Children Check, COVID-19 Digital Certificate, and Current Police Check are all essential requirements.
  • Other Requirements: The candidate must also have an ABN and Bank Details, as well as be willing to undergo a police check.
