Job Title: Educator Range 2

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced educator who can lead and support our team to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.

The Early Childhood Room Leader will be responsible for leading the planning and programming in consultation with other educators to uphold the centre's educational program and philosophy, ensuring practices are in line with national standards and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a high-level understanding of contemporary pedagogy and practice, as well as evidence-informed approaches to teaching and learning. They will be able to model respectful relationships with children, staff, and families, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and programming of the early childhood education and care service.
  • Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Model respectful relationships with children, staff, and families.
  • Provide guidance and support to other educators to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • At least 2 years experience in leading and supporting teams in early childhood education and care.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to model respectful relationships with children, staff, and families.
