As a Construction Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organisation's insurance repair project management.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and take on new challenges as we continue to expand our services across Australia.

You will be based in Sydney and report directly to the Team Leader, working closely with onsite Supervisors to ensure seamless project delivery.

Your office-based role will involve providing regular updates to stakeholders via internal systems and client portals, while also maintaining strong customer service and organisational skills.

The successful candidate will have experience in scheduling, liaison, budget monitoring, and purchase order management, with a strong understanding of construction processes, WHS requirements, and relevant building codes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects simultaneously, develop your time management and communication skills, and contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed schedules of works for trades and repairs
  • Liaise closely with onsite Supervisors and Trades personnel
  • Monitor budgets and cost control measures
  • Manage all purchase orders and invoices
  • Collate photos and associated documents for reports and quotations

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Solid coordination experience in small-medium reinstatement work (highly desirable)
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, critical inspection points, permits, and WHS requirements
  • Understanding of relevant building codes and Australian standards and State legislation
  • High level of computer competency

Apart from the core responsibilities, you may be required to work overtime during event times due to the influence of insurable weather events on the insurance building sector.
