Project Manager Role

This role is crucial for the Defence community, supporting all ICT requirements to enable them to protect Australia's interests.

Fujitsu has a long history of delivering, supporting and maintaining systems for the Australian Defence Force across Army, Navy and Air Force.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams in the delivery of work packages or project stages in partnership with customers and business units to ensure acceptance, close down and handover to service.
  • Define work package or project stage requirements and manage the agreement process of requirements and objectives.
  • Ensure formal review procedures are used.
  • Manage risks associated with deliverables of projects or work packages.
  • Ensure the impact on business units' profit and loss due to project activities within the scope of the project is clearly visible and that all contingency usage is signed off by appropriate governance authority.
  • Ensure own objectives are aligned to the Project or Program objectives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working on Projects and 1+ year working as a Project Coordinator or customer service.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Defence environment.
  • Proficient in Deskside projects.
  • Proactive and highly organized.
  • Must hold current or reinstatable AGSVA clearance.
