Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Dispense Tech and Pharmacy Assistant to support the daily operations of our pharmacy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dispensing and administration, with a Cert 2-3 in pharmacy assistance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mailboxes.
  • Coordinating prescription processing timelines with the pharmacist.
  • Working independently and within a team to ensure continued functionality of day-to-day tasks.

Additional responsibilities for the Dispense Tech role include:

  • Accurately dispensing medications under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
  • Preparing prescriptions and managing stock levels in the dispensary.
  • Working in a fast-paced dispensary environment.

Key skills required include:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to show initiative in a high-pressure environment and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. Regular pay reviews will be based on performance.
