The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering specific health care programs relating to rheumatic heart disease, assessing and treating clients, maintaining health care systems, and providing advice and support while under clinical supervision. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our clients.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time role available, working 76 hours per fortnight. The base salary ranges between $98,555 and $116,189 per annum (HWF4). In addition to your salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including:
- 2 return airfares per annum to the nearest east coast provincial city in conjunction with your recreation leave;
- An isolation bonus of AUD$3,500 for the first year, increasing to AUD$7,000 after three years;
- A 12.75% employer superannuation contribution;
- Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual;
- Tax savings through salary sacrificing options;
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
- Hold current registration as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner as recognised by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner Board of Australia (ATSIHPBA);
- Have a Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or equivalent qualifications.
