Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Store Person to join our dynamic team in Yarrawonga, NT. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of products within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking & Despatch: Accurately pick tyre products and other items, assemble orders for despatch, and ensure all tasks comply with Occupational Health & Safety practices.
  • Receiving & Put Away: Unload, check, and store incoming products efficiently, maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is completed.
  • Administration: Support warehouse operations by maintaining required consumables, coordinating delivery runs, and managing reverse logistics.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse, upholding our 3S standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to Bridgestone's safety standards, report hazards, and promote a safe working environment.
  • Managerial Support: Assist in HSE activities, perform risk assessments, and support the Warehouse Manager in their absence.

Requirements
  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Initiative and a keen desire to learn.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Willingness to engage in manual handling tasks.
  • LF and LO Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus generous staff discounts. You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, and a national police check. Please note that having disclosable outcomes does not automatically disqualify candidates.
