Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Reliability Manager. This role will provide the opportunity to make a real impact on our operations and drive significant improvements that reflect on the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Reliability Strategies
- Maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency through robust reliability strategies.
- Lead and Motivate Direct Reports
- Lead, coach, and motivate direct reports in operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze Equipment Performance Data
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime, optimizing maintenance practices, and enhancing overall plant reliability.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and safety, to ensure seamless operations and adherence to industry best practices.
- Manage Department Budgets
- Prepare and manage department budgets and forecasting.
- Ensure Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline or relevant trade qualification.
- Proven Experience
- Ideally 10 years proven experience in the FMCG industry and/or manufacturing sites.
- Leadership Skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Reliability Engineering Expertise
- Expertise in reliability engineering principles, including root cause analysis, predictive maintenance, and asset management.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
