As a skilled Audiologist, you will be working with clients of all backgrounds to provide the latest best practice hearing services. You will gain valuable skills by working for Australia's largest provider of government funded hearing services.

About the Role

You will assess the auditory concerns of non-complex adult clients in accordance with established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards.

  • Fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and/or communication strategies as appropriate.
  • Referring clients to other professionals or seeking guidance from more senior audiologists where needed.
  • Providing services at visiting sites and home visits.
  • Liaising with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health and support agencies and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client.
Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who can thrive in a client-centred environment where they can provide exceptional and friendly service while managing complex medical administration.

  • Tertiary qualification in Audiology is essential.
  • Full and current membership with Audiology Australia or ACP is required.
  • Solid knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards is necessary.
  • Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program is also required.
  • Experience with National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work.
  • Capacity to support business changes to clinical practice, products and policies.
