About the Role
Our team is seeking a professional and motivated Project Support Officer to provide ongoing support to our naval shipbuilding projects. As a key member of our multi-functional team, you will be responsible for providing shared business and project management functions that support critical maritime projects.
The successful candidate will be accountable under limited direction to perform moderately complex procedural, operational, business, and project support work within an integrated environment. You will interpret and provide advice to stakeholders based on legislation, ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project support services to the Commonwealth Government's naval shipbuilding projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver results accordingly.
- Interpret and apply legislation to provide advice and support to the project management team.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to establish clear plans and timeframes, responding positively to change and uncertainty.
- Innovative and adaptive thinking, taking accountability while adopting a risk-based and flexible approach to delivering outcomes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effective in managing within an integrated team environment.
