Job Overview

As Director of Technology and Innovation, you will lead the strategic and operational development of IT systems, ensuring the institution's technology infrastructure enhances both the learning experience for students and the overall operational success of the institution.

You will play a key role in shaping the future of education by implementing emerging technologies, leading innovative practices, and fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and ethical technology use.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Innovation in Learning: Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies to enhance educational practices, student learning, and teacher development across the institution.
  2. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the institution's Technology and Innovation Strategy, ensuring alignment with the institution's mission and long-term educational goals.
  3. Lead Information Systems & Infrastructure: Manage ICT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity to ensure reliability, compliance, and ethical governance across the institution.
  4. Lead People and Teams: Inspire and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering collaboration and professional growth while delivering exceptional service to students, staff, and the community.
  5. Ethical and Educational Stewardship: Integrate values into the ethical adoption of technologies, ensuring a responsible, inclusive, and sustainable approach to innovation.
