Job Summary

KU Children's Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Preschool in Lane Cove. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for innovating, inspiring, and motivating our staff to provide high-quality education and care to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Collaborate with the Education and Quality team to maintain high standards of quality and compliance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with children, families, and the broader community
  • Manage daily routines, rostering, and policy implementation

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of previous directing experience in an early childhood education setting
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • Completed Child Protection Training and demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, as well as separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
