Pharmacy Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacy service coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to further enhance your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver exceptional pharmacy services to inpatients, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the quality use of medicines.
  • Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock.
  • Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles.
  • Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff.
  • Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge.
  • Confidently complete administrative and record keeping duties.
  • Assist with patient account enquiries.

The ideal candidate will be driven by the desire to have a positive impact on another person's life, possess excellent time management, communication and teamwork skills, and be adaptable with the ability to prioritise their workload.

They will also have previous experience dispensing medication, knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), and strong customer service skills.
