The Role

We're seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our team at Geelong. This is a high-paced, high-turnover environment, requiring someone with senior retail experience and a proven ability to lead by example.

You'll need to be able to motivate and inspire your team, provide exceptional customer service, and drive floor sales. Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety, store security, and basic financial reporting is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and motivating your team to do the same
  • Drive floor sales through effective visual merchandising, stock control, and promotional activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including stocktakes and reconciliation
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols
  • Manage staff performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to improve productivity and sales
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer engagement and loyalty

What We Offer

Requirements

  • Senior retail experience in a management position, preferably in outdoor clothing and equipment
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle complex queries and complaints
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
