The Role of Sustainability Consultant

This position suits an expert with a strong foundation in building systems, mechanical engineering, and sustainable design.

  • Lead client programs and project delivery for sustainable buildings
  • Conduct comprehensive site assessments and energy audits to optimize building performance
  • Develop and implement Net Zero Carbon pathways for new and existing buildings
  • Deliver NABERS evaluations and improvement plan development
  • Support Green Star certification projects (Performance and Interiors)
  • Apply mechanical engineering expertise to optimize HVAC systems and renewable energy integration
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables including reports, presentations, and analytical models

Sustainable Building Expertise: Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of building systems, mechanical engineering principles, and sustainable design practices. They must be able to lead complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Program Management: Manage client relationships and oversee project delivery to ensure timely completion and high-quality outcomes
  • Site Assessments and Energy Audits: Conduct thorough site assessments and energy audits to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize building performance
  • Net Zero Carbon Pathways: Develop and implement Net Zero Carbon pathways for new and existing buildings to minimize environmental impact
  • NABERS Evaluations: Deliver NABERS evaluations and improvement plan development to help clients achieve better energy efficiency ratings
  • Green Star Certification: Support Green Star certification projects (Performance and Interiors) to promote sustainable building practices
  • HVAC Systems Optimization: Apply mechanical engineering expertise to optimize HVAC systems and integrate renewable energy solutions
  • Client Deliverables: Produce high-quality client deliverables, including reports, presentations, and analytical models, to support informed decision-making
