Real-Time Command and Control Systems Developer

The opportunity is to work at the forefront of Australia's land systems programs, expanding and strengthening our presence in this critical area.

  • This role involves developing and integrating software solutions that support real-time command and control functions.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring software interoperability, building secure communication systems, implementing data fusion and intelligence analysis capabilities.

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to maintain and update legacy and modernized C4I systems to keep pace with evolving threats, new technology insertion, and changing military doctrines.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, cybersecurity, or information technology.

Experience or formal education in systems engineering and software lifecycle management tailored to military systems integration and operational requirements is essential.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organisation/prioritisation skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues is also necessary.
