The Beach Schools Cup is seeking expressions of interest for casual staff to assist with the event setup and management.
- About the Role: Assist with installation and construction of the beach courts, including digging holes, installing posts, nets, and lines.
- About the Event: The event will take place from Sunday 27th to Monday 28th July at Coolangatta Beach. Successful applicants will be required to attend a bump-in day on Wednesday 23rd to Friday 25th July.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the venue and courts are set up for the first match.
- Set up scoreboard and equipment on each court.
- Oversee operations of the beach and results, including monitoring court progress and ensuring teams are ready.
- Adjust net heights as needed.
Benefits: A casual rate of $37.06 (MA Sporting Organisations Award 2020 Grade 5) will be paid to Venue Managers. Accommodation will be provided for Saturday and Sunday nights. A Paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is required.
Requirements: Previous venue management experience is essential. Please ensure you have read and are fully aware of the responsibilities of the positions you are applying for.
