Assistant Store Manager Job Description

At our Cranbourne West store, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team. In this hands-on workshop role, you will play a key part in driving sales and leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Support the Store Manager and manage the store in their absence, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  3. Coordinate the daily workshop schedule and maintain on-time customer delivery, guaranteeing efficiency and productivity.
  4. Plan and coordinate parts supply and delivery to the workshop workflow, streamlining processes and reducing downtime.
  5. Monitor the quality of work performed in the workshop, upholding the highest standards and maintaining excellent customer service.
  6. Perform vehicle repairs as required, demonstrating technical expertise and a commitment to excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III Automotive (Mechanical - Light Vehicle) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current, Full Drivers Licence.
  • Demonstrative experience in automotive suspension repairs, components, and operation.
  • Experience in leading or managing people and fostering a positive culture.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate workshop tasks and perform jobs efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
