Environmental Conservation Initiative

A unique opportunity to participate in off-grid environmental conservation efforts in a stunning New Zealand setting.

Contribute to protecting and preserving native species and ecosystems in the beautiful Kauri Coast.

Main Activities:
  • Cut and mark tracks for conservation purposes
  • Install, refill, and monitor bait stations to control pests
  • Monitor kiwi, kokako, and rodents to ensure population health
  • Participate in hands-on conservation work in different forests
  • Gain knowledge on sustainability and living off-grid
Daily Routine:
  • 8 am - 9 am: Breakfast
  • 9 am - 9:30 am: Clean-up
  • 10 am - 12 pm: Morning work activities
  • 12 pm - 1 pm: Lunch (indoors or picnic-style)
  • 1 pm - 4 pm: Afternoon working activities
  • 4 pm - 6 pm: Free time/leisure time
  • 6 pm - 8 pm: Dinner
  • 8 pm - 10 pm: Leisure activities (sunset watching, soccer, dusk bird chorus)
Essential Skills:
  • Adaptable individuals with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to adapt to changing weather conditions
