We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic veterinarian to join our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team at Greencross Vets. As an ECC intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working alongside our experienced team of veterinarians and nurses. Our ECC department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology, providing you with the ideal platform to develop your skills and knowledge in emergency and critical care medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary clinical work within the ECC department, providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our ECC team.
- Participation in rotating intern programs, including rotations in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Anaesthesia, and Diagnostic Imaging.
- Training in ECC induction modules, intern rounds, MMR, assignments, and RECOVER accreditation.
- Opportunities for professional development, including publications, presentations, and participation in wet pracs.
- Regular feedback and support from your clinical mentor and the ECC team.
Requirements:
- A veterinary degree and a strong passion for ECC medicine.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Previous experience in general practice or a rotating internship is desirable, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
