**Farm Laborer Wanted**

Yahro Farm is seeking a reliable and hard-working individual to care for our hens and process eggs.

This role involves hands-on, physical work—perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and working around animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating automated egg packing equipment
  • Collecting eggs from sheds and monitoring for issues
  • Maintaining the health and welfare of our hens
  • Keeping the packing area clean and tidy
  • Lifting, bending, and handling birds (up to 7kg)

Requirements:

  • Not owning poultry, birds, or pigs (biosecurity requirement)
  • Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport
  • Be physically fit and capable of repetitive manual work
  • Be punctual, positive, and ready to work

Terms:

  • Pay: $30.35 per hour (Adult Casual - Poultry Award)
  • Start: Immediate
  • Job Types: Permanent, Casual
  • Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
  • Schedule: Morning shift
  • Work Authorisation: Australia (required)
  • Work Location: In person
