Strategic Risk and Compliance Leader

The company is seeking an experienced risk and compliance professional to establish or mature its enterprise risk framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive ERM framework: Design, implement, and manage a pragmatic ERM framework that adds genuine strategic value to the organization.
  • Build a modern compliance program: Manage a forward-looking compliance program that anticipates regulatory shifts across corporate, environmental, safety, and social obligations.
  • Provide executive-level insights: Translate complex risk data into clear, insightful dashboards and reports for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board's Risk & Compliance Committee.
  • Maintain a targeted assurance function: Design and lead a targeted internal audit and assurance program that focuses on what truly matters to the business.
  • Foster a proactive risk culture: Champion risk-aware decision-making, providing training, tools, and expert guidance to empower managers and staff across the organization.
About You:
  • Proven track record: Establish or significantly mature an enterprise risk or compliance framework in a fast-paced, growing business.
  • Experience and qualifications: 8-15 years of progressive experience in risk, compliance, or internal audit, with broad domain knowledge spanning multiple risk domains.
  • Technical skills: Skilled in using tools to create clarity, developing risk dashboards (e.g., in Power BI or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with credibility to engage and influence senior executives and board members.
