Product Manager - Asset Management

Sydney-based Asset Management firm is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to drive strategic initiatives and manage investment products.

The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience in Asset Management, with a proven track record in product management.

This role requires strong technical knowledge and expertise in managing investment vehicles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting complex product management activities, including introduction, restructuring, and ongoing vehicle management.
  • Leading cross-functional implementations to ensure stakeholder readiness.
  • Conducting advanced research on competitive and internal positioning, including fees and expenses.
  • Developing ideas for product development, enhancements, and expansions based on research and analysis.
  • Guiding product developments by researching market demands, risks, and regulatory environments.
  • Crafting materials for review and inclusion in management presentations and product governance meetings.
  • Identifying and suggesting updates to business processes, procedures, and policies related to products and investment vehicles.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and managing investment products. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of operational infrastructure, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required. CFA qualification or current studies are highly desirable.

A salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global asset manager and contribute to the growth of their Sydney office.
