The Role
This challenging role requires a strategic thinker who can solve problems from all angles and provide comprehensive, whole-solution selling of both hardware and software. The ideal candidate will be able to relate to a broad customer base, including local farmers, retail salespeople, farm managers, farm owners, and corporate farms.
The successful candidate will also have the nous to sell the future of digital farming vision to our customers, requiring:
- Proven sales success (agricultural sector knowledge is essential, and experience selling both hardware and software would be beneficial).
- Experience developing new business and creating strategic sales plans.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing relationships with key customers and dealers/resellers.
- Strong digital acumen, with knowledge of cloud-based solutions and the ability to relay technical information.
- A hunter mindset with a drive for success and a passion for results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (experience presenting and running events would be advantageous).
