Sustainable Electrical Engineers play a crucial role in designing energy-efficient buildings and communities.

Job Description

We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team of sustainable engineers. As a graduate, you will work closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, providing consultancy input on projects in various sectors.

You will undertake detailed electrical building services engineering design and analysis, translating clients' needs into designs for buildings, facilities, and services. Under experienced engineers' guidance, you will develop your skills and assume greater responsibility and autonomy over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake detailed electrical building services engineering design and analysis
  • Provide consultancy input on projects in various sectors
  • Work closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice
  • Develop skills and assume greater responsibility and autonomy over time

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An accredited MEng degree level (or equivalent) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • A passion for sustainable electrical engineering
  • Relevant work experience or placement/internship
  • An appreciation of building services engineering core elements
  • Digital engineering skills, including parametric modelling techniques or modern programming languages like Python or C#
  • Understanding of engineering optimisation techniques, structured programming principles, and basic machine learning knowledge
  • Organisational and methodical approach to tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude
