About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse issues such as cyber security, technology, telecommunication, local government, renting and housing, and emergency response.

As a senior media advisor, you will lead a small team and be responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders. You will also provide strategic advice on media and communication to senior leaders and other departments during crisis responses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of media professionals and provide guidance, setting expectations, monitoring and managing performance.
  • Manage daily media activities, including liaison with media outlets and ministerial advisors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to developing positioning strategies for emerging issues.
