Collections Role Overview

The Recovery Specialist plays a vital part in our Commercial function, accountable for managing the entire recoveries process. This involves collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships.

This role requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio arrears management of specific vendors to ensure timely collections and compliance adherence
  • Managing the account level relationship with specific vendors to foster long-term partnerships
  • Identifying reasons for client arrears and negotiating a resolution to prevent further delinquency
  • Case managing extended circumstances surrounding delinquency and providing client solutions that meet business needs
  • Recommending and managing legal action when necessary, including repossession of company assets
  • Working effectively with external stakeholders such as third-party collections agents and solicitors
