We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Education Assistant. As an integral member of our educational programs, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of inclusive and responsive learning environments.

  • You will work collaboratively with teachers across various year levels and curriculum areas, assisting in the implementation of agreed strategies that promote positive learning outcomes for all students.

  • You will leverage your exceptional interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills to provide individual and small group support, empowering students to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Your contributions will be instrumental in fostering inclusion and ensuring each student is meaningfully engaged in their learning journey.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents, and teaching professionals on the provision of educational programs.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in the evaluation of educational programs.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills that will assist in delivering and developing effective education programs to students and providing feedback to teaching professionals or psychologists.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist teachers or therapists in implementing educational programs, including special education and occupational therapy programs where required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health and physical disabilities in students and adolescents.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the general health and well-being of students.

  • Candidates must be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Applicants must obtain a valid Working With Children Check before commencing employment.
