**Leadership Opportunity in Early Childhood Education**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma qualified Educator to join our team as a Room Leader in the Baby Room. This is a maximum term contract position, commencing in 2025.

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for applying your knowledge and experience to continue the team's quality of care. You will role model pedagogy and practice, and continue the hard work the team has put into creating strong foundations and structures in the Baby Room.

You will be a strong advocate for your team and the children and families in your care, continuing the solid foundations built by the current room leaders to ensure the best interests of staff, children and families are front of mind in all decision making.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma qualification in Early Education and Care or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in taking initiative within their room/team to support best practice and pedagogy.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support staff.
  • Commitment to learning and development, with ability to consider different evidence-based perspectives and theories in their practice.
