Our Maritime Sustainment Program Delivery team is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA office. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic and innovative environment where you will play a key role in delivering projects of global significance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that technical, cost and schedule goals associated with assigned projects are achieved in accordance with contractual and company requirements. This involves working closely with delivery teams to enhance program metrics and collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements.
Principal Accountabilities- Develop and establish live dashboard environments for sustainment programs.
- Engage with delivery teams to enhance program metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements.
- Generate status reports and coordinate variance analysis and corrective action activities.
- Design solutions that meet business requirements.
- Coordinate and compile program performance reporting from delivery teams.
- Attend project review meetings.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision making.
- Support the resolution of program issues as required.
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Experience in dashboard development with Tableau or PowerBI.
- Understanding of scheduling integration.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Visio.
- Ability to partner with stakeholders to obtain necessary deliverables.
- Capability to identify and solve complex problems.
- Proven knowledge and expertise in business intelligence tools and techniques.
- High-level writing and presentation skills.
- Current Baseline Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
- Tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics, Data Science or relevant experience (desirable).
