Caring Nanny Wanted for Newborn Baby

We are seeking a caring and experienced nanny to join our family in Randwick. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of our newborn baby boy, who is 13 weeks old.

The ideal nanny would be warm, calm, and nurturing, with a strong ability to engage with the baby and support their growth and development.

The role requires someone who genuinely enjoys their work as a nanny, is patient, honest, safe, clean, tidy, and responsible, and is able to care for the baby and household throughout the day.

Prior experience working with young or newborn babies is highly valued, and a current first aid certificate and Working with Children's Check are essential requirements.

The days and normal hours of the role are Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:30am to 4pm, totaling 22.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Caring for the baby
  • FOLLOWING THE BABY'S ROUTINE
  • Preparing meals and snacks for the baby
  • PLAYING AND ENGAGING IN AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST IN THE BABY'S DEVELOPMENT
  • Taking the baby out for walks and park activities
  • Light household duties
  • Washing and sterilizing bottles
  • Family laundry

This is a long-term/ permanent role, offering a stable and secure work environment.

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, speak English fluently, and be up-to-date with all vaccinations. Ability to cook and swim is also desirable.
