Aircraft Maintenance Professional

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Karratha, Western Australia. The successful candidate will perform maintenance, inspections, and certifications on turbine engine aeroplanes in compliance with relevant standards.

  • The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and instructions published by the company are adhered to;
  • Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero-harm environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position;
  • Report all safety-related matters in accordance with the Safety Management System (SMS) and make appropriate recommendations to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency;
  • Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel;
  • Ensure all aircraft-related certification paperwork is completed accurately and within deadlines;
  • Perform modification/s and various diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, installation, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems;
  • Certify for maintenance activities within delegated authority;
  • Observe and comply with all standards and procedures contained within the Civil Aviation Authority Regulations, as well as individual aircraft systems and maintenance;
  • Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements;
  • Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary;
  • Service and clean hangar, tools, and ground equipment as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • The person appointed as Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer shall:
  • Hold a Part 66 B1 License;
  • Type rated on a Citation 560 with a JT15 Series;
  • Have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role;
  • Have strong attention to detail and analytical skills;
  • Have strong written, verbal, and communication skills.
