AWM Electrical is seeking a reliable and efficient Storeperson to join our dynamic warehouse team. As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming goods, accurately picking, packing, and dispatching orders, and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders according to customer specifications, meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to company health and safety standards
- Process returns and manage documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily targets and deadlines, promoting a positive and productive team environment
- Previous experience in a warehouse or storeperson role is preferred, but not essential
- Forklift license is advantageous
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory management, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
- Current and valid Victorian driver's license
